Living in California these days is expensive. So, I had to find a way to make money and fast!

Making Money Online

We are living in a digital age, which means there really are a lot of ways to earn an income or make some extra side money online.

The catch, earning money online often takes time.

I was lucky to have time on my side and a patient husband who let me experiment in all things “earning an income from home” before I really started earning.

It took a year for me to start earning a decent part time income, but there are definitely ways you can earn money from home faster!

What Can You Sell to Make Money?

The first thing to do when you’re in a bind is look through your stuff.

Do you have stuff hidden away in the garage or attic? Gifts you never opened or used? Things laying around collecting dust and creating clutter?

These are great places to look for things to sell.

You can sell anything from old textbooks, baby gear, electronics, old phones, you name it!

Look up your items on Amazon or Ebay to see how much they are going for and how they are selling.

If you need more immediate cash take a look on Facebook to see if your city has any local yard sale groups.

I’ve seen people go crazy in these types of groups for used furniture, children’s toys, old LEGO’s, kid’s books, shoes, electronics.

One man’s trash is literally another’s treasure online.

This is a great way to put some fast cash into your pocket!

Can you make money from social media?

Yes! If you have a large following on social media take advantage of that.

One of my favorite ways to earn money from social media is through Ebates.

Here’s how you can use Ebates to earn on social media:

2. Earn cash back whenever you make a purchase through Ebates
3. Share your referral link on social media to earn a referral reward of $25 for each person you refer!

Selling Services

Do some brainstorming.

Do you have any skills that you can sell?

There are plenty of people that need lawn services, dog walkers, grocery shoppers, caterers, electric work, handy work, babysitters, and house cleaners.

If you are a stay at home mom, could you take on a few extra kids for babysitting cash? I often see need for sitters in local church and mom groups. Visit Care.com too to see what jobs they have available.

Advertise your services online! It could be in a Facebook yard sale group, Craigslist, or local moms group.

Come up with a reasonable hourly wage and see if anyone could use you for that service. This is a great way to earn some quick cash on the side!

Crowdfunding

If you are going through a personal crisis and need immediate help consider starting a crowdfunding account online through a site like GoFundMe.

I’ve seen people raise money this way for funeral, medical, and emergency expenses.

Family and friends may be able to help you out with hospital bills from an illness or repair costs from a house fire.

With a little brainstorming earning fast cash online can be simple! I wish you success on your money earning adventures.
